Williams' Harvey Charity Corporate Duathlon

Here's a chance to have some fun and raise money for a great charity too!

NEW VENUE - FRIMLEY PARK, HASTINGS
SUNDAY 10 OCTOBER 2010
START TIME  10.30am
Race briefing will be at 10.15am
Start / Finish/Race Briefing is in the transition area which is located in the Park Area which can be accessed via Lyndhurst Road.

After an amazing success when we moved to Frimley Park in Hastings this will now be the permanent home of this event. This is a fantastic venue, not only in terms of enjoyment for the whole family but offers a fabulous Duathlon course too.  At Frimley Park you can complete the 5km run/walk - 20km cycle - 5km run/walk in the beautiful park setting and know that your family and friends are enjoying the venue just as much as you are.  After the event go and see the amazing Rose Gardens and enjoy the children's playground all available for your enjoyment.

You may even want to bring along a tent or a gazebo to have a bar-b-que and if you do set up is on Saturday afternoon from 2-4pm for this purpose.  There will be security overnight so we can keep on eye on your gear for you.

This event has been going since 2005 and we have managed to raise a huge amount of money for it's cause which is Cystic Fibrosis thanks to all of those who have taken part.  This is a team event only and is open to all groups, corporate, families, friends, whatever group you can get together we would love to have you along.  This event is recommended for anyone aged 13 years and over.

This event has been supported and sponsored by Williams' Harvey Registered Valuers.  Their team work very hard with the planning of this event and also on race day.  To find out about their team and what they can do for you CLICK HERE

PRIZE FOR THE TEAM WITH THE WHACKIEST COSTUME - SO GO CRAZY AND GET DRESSED UP TO HAVE SOME FUN.  Costumes are not compulsory but having fun is!
The focus is on fun and a great atmosphere.  There are no prizes for placings but plenty of great spot prizes and there will be prizes for the best costumes.  We hope that after the event you will be able to sit and relax at the great venue and as always the great Hawke's Bay sunshine.

ENTRY - REGISTRATION
You have the option of downloading entry forms and posting them in with a cheque (Make sure you put an e-mail address so we can e-mail you all the maps and confirmation of your entry) but an even better idea is to enter events online through this website.  That way you get immediate confirmation that you are entered and you know you are in the correct race or category and also you don't have to worry about stamps and envelopes all all that stuff?  We try to keep our event fees as low as we can and therefore can not absorb the cost of this service.  So the cost to this service is $3 on top of the entry fee, but as our events are so cheap anyway I am sure you will agree that $3 is a small price to pay for such a large convenience!
